"I'm a little excited about this car, let's just hope it doesn't fall into the same status that many of the non turbo japanese sports cars of the 90's hit."

These balls are blue.

It came from one cryptic comment in a little blurb in Autocar. Apparently someone at Subaru said that the car would have "less than 300bhp," but almost every other official source has said that the Toyota and Subaru versions will be virtually the same mechanically. I share your skepticism, and I would like to point

Subaru has said that an STI version is possible but that it would not be turbocharged. I don't remember the source, but I'm sure the Google can assist you.

"The Scion FR-S / Toyota FT-86 gets talked about as a Mustang Killer and competition for the Hyundai Genesis and other muscle cars. It really isn't, although maybe the Subaru BRZ will be."

I'm also an engineer with the '87 program, though it sounds like you've been around a bit longer than I have (I just started in August, but I know one of the flight test guys...know any Penn State Grads?). But yes, it's really cool to see one of our aircraft out in the world now. It really is a revolutionary

What is the ultimate place to test road cars? The roads of the real world. Twisty roads, straight roads, smooth roads, bumpy roads, hot roads, cold roads, snowy roads, wet roads; yes, the real world offers every testing environment you could possibly want.

Ladies! Show your TT's to Charlie Murphy!

I submit for you consideration: The Local Greasy Spoon. Location: Anywhere.

May I request that it be included in the blip that no one was injured in the accident. Thanks.

So...I'm actually afraid to say this...Umm...I...uhh...kind of...like the way this car looks.

"Prospective models are likely to include a small front-drive roadster"

Apparently people aren't bothered by 100k+ mileage readings anymore. I'd probably have to think long and hard before I spent more than ten grand on a car with that kind of mileage, but the V is sufficiently awesome enough to at least earn my Nice Price vote.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, that Ferrari 330 P3/4 is gorgeous.

For some reason Crown Vic's win huge points with Jalopnik commenters, but all I see here is a high mileage dinosaur that someone wants ten thousand dollars for. Crack.

The only number that matters with respect to this car is the one they didn't release: price. If this car isn't priced within spitting distance of its more practical cousins, then it has no chance. Ball's in your court, Mini.

Needs more Bluesport.

Sometimes I forget what a pretty car the Corvette is. Especially when it's dirty.

I would tend to doubt it. This is just a prototype, so they're likely just running placeholders that happen to be the same size as the intended production wheels. For reference, check out the spy photos of the LFA vs the production photos.
