@saboth: Actually, Insideline is reporting that the turbo version has been confirmed and will be released less than a year after the NA version.

Interesting that Hyundai mentioned Colin Chapman in their introduction of the Veloster while Lotus is trying to pretend he never existed.
I don't really understand the whole "Hybrid drivers are smug" thing. Outside of South Park, most Prius drivers that I have talked to don't know enough about their cars to be smug.
Like the Veyron, the only thing you need to buy an Enzo is a massive check and a complete lack of imagination. As great as they are, these cars have become cliches by virtue of over exposure. Ask any car-guy wannabe what they would buy after inheriting a large sum of money, and you will hear one of three words:…
Ahh, but the 1M actually costs two grand less than the TT-S. The TT-RS will likely be much more expensive when it hits the States.
Obviously. It would be a PR nightmare.
@teledingo: The important point is that they are ultimately more green than a typical IC-engined car. Note the Leaf's 99 mpg-equivalence rating. Sadly, electric cars still suffer from limited range and long recharge times. You win some, you lose some.
Hey Riley, the reason your parents aren't cool anymore is you.
@FamedNemesis: Yeah I was only really using the fuel economy as an example, but you are correct. Just last year the Mustang was rocking a five-speed and the boat anchor 4.0. That's not to mention the other elephant in the room...
A 230 hp MX-5 with NA-style door handles!? Where do I sign?
@Shizanester: I'll agree with you about the exhaust note, but only on older, modified examples. (Rumble, rumble, rumble...) I feel like they really dumbed it down on the current ones, which seems like a metaphor for the newer models in general.
@Adam Spano: Ok. See, I'm a perfectly reasonable person, and 400bhp and 28mpg is quite impressive to me.
I'm genuinely not trying to be troll or anything, but I really don't get the appeal of the Subaru WRX at all. I know that they're quick in a straight line with a clutch-murdering launch, but what else do they have to work with? The fuel economy is absolutely terrible (19/25) especially when you consider that a 5.0…
@alfasud: Where in Central PA?? I'm in that neighborhood, and I'd love to take a look at this thing.
For $6,500, I'll let someone else torque steer this Franken-Honda into a tree.
The black and red looks pretty badass, and that 302 would surely have the goods to back up the visuals. Sadly, the price isn't quite nice enough for me.
A ruined NSX? With those wheels? And those miles? Crack.
My choice would be the first generation MX-5 Miata for the simple fact that it is the best-selling two seat sports car of all time. It also went on to form numerous spec race series, and it became a jumping-off point for a laundry list of sports cars that wouldn't exist otherwise. It's also attainable, which I don't…
