Every company makes good and bad cars. Same with every country. Some suck, some kick ass for their own reasons. To generalize like that is just idiotic. I love euro cars, it's what I was raised on. The thing is tho, to hate on cars just because of the country they come from and not for the car itself is proving just

THANK YOU!!!

O_o

It's just impression. I guarantee it's not intentional.

No. Dude you're still getting it wrong. The door guards listing has nothing to do with the dollar amount. The text is just too close together.

Sir, you went from sounding belligerent in the first post to sounding clear and concise in the second. I completely accept what you said and agree with you.

Brt is right. The money is being charged for market value adjustment (I.E. Extra markup due to high demand that I still don't agree with).

Exactly.

Lol. Dude the article is invalid THO. He accused them of charging that for door edge guards. It's not. I already said I don't agree with it and my dealership doesn't practice that. Also, allocation for cars is dependent on your area. So depending on where you are, it changes. Also most salesmen would still say they

Nissan GT-R 30k over sticker (we sold 2 at that price)

I also for some reason thought ray wrote this. And he didn't of course. I guess I'm in need of reading comprehension courses lol.

Ray,

And when did I admit that? I've been in this business for years an jar worked in every single department. I've won salesman of the month countless times and have been a manager as well.

Nope this was in Massachusetts. Also, our rep even spoke to me about it. We just called it "qualifying your customers". We know after a few minutes if you can buy or not.

All depends on policies. At my old dealership, probably, but we would want to pull your credit first.

Actually the dyno they used converts it back into bhp numbers using rolling resistance. I do believe the reason for the low numbers was a fresh engine that had been broken in at 6k rpm.

I sold the first 2011 for 5k over, the rest AR sticker. We weren't allocated one early enough to charge that much. I was a service advisor at Nissan when we were charging 30k over for GT-R's. That is a FUCKING SWEET PAYCHECK!

Too bad that happened a total of 1 time total in my 3 years there lol.

You just hit the experience on the nose so damn perfectly...

In my time at my old Ford dealership, I sold 3 new GT500's. Every single one went the same way.
