On the contrary. An rb26dett will hold 1300hp with a stock bottom end just fine. And hks is not hard to contact. Parts aren't that expensive comparatively.

Can someone explain why it would be beneficial to swap an rb motor for a BMW engine (unless v8/10/12)? Believe me I am ALL ABOUT engine swaps, but there should be some functional reasoning behind it. If I'm wrong please correct me.
