As Germany should know, the US doesn't let a little water stop them from advancing.

I haven't read the article yet, but if the picture is any indication, the most important trait is a good wireless signal.

When I was in 4th grade, I became a kickball legend. I was playing 2nd base, with runners on 1st and 2nd base, with no outs. Anyway, up comes the opposing team captain and he kicks a screaming line drive right to me (out #1). I catch the ball chest high, center mass. I pivot slightly to my right and notice the the

This seems like a very "it's not a bug, it's a feature" moments.

Nope. It's always fine not to tip someone. Your pay isn't my problem, nor is your conscious decision to opt for a lower-paying job packaging to-go orders instead of waiting on tables. Don't like the result of your decision? Change it.

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Same here. The only things I ever put on my desktop are files I only need briefly (e.g. installers), only because having them on my desktop reminds me to remove them as soon as I'm done with them.

You know what would be a guaranteed hit, and land you the date of your dreams?

Grab a boombox, hold it over your head, and play "Peter Gabriel's - In Your Eyes" at full blast outside of the store. Or inside if you're feeling extra brave?

Hey it worked for Lloyd Dobbler!

Cat is 90% of the pleasure of a dog with 15% of the effort.

Bottom line: I prefer an aloof roomate to a needy child.

Isn't it obvious? Cats rule and dogs, well, drool.

Damn this is a tough one. I like both but am more partial to dogs. I'd say cats require less maintenance. Dogs are a lot more fun since they tend to be more active but they do require more attention.

At first glance, the top pic looked like Mel Gibson.

Laser all the way

Glad you find harsh reality funny.

I can't live without Bartender. It takes all my (many) menu bar apps and hides the icon until it's trying to notify me. Plus it lets me hide the system icons I never use there (like my profile name).
