I use Spotify and just started getting the student discount. I've used Rdio int he past but don't remember much about it. I also use Pandora some because I like its superior radio algorithms.

That's about the only exception. If I'm following some tutorial and it basically uses my desktop as a temporary workspace. However, once I'm done working on whatever it was everything immediately gets cleared off and my desktop becomes pristine again.

I sleep with a bathroom fan on and you are definitely right about not being able to sleep without it. I used apps on my phone and tablet to record the fan and play it back in a loop if I'm ever away from home.
