Women be crazy, right? Men are never the crazy ones. They may be mentally and physically abusive, but we don’t call ‘em crazy.

Paul Rudd forever !!!!!!

Thank you, Chris Pratt, for voluntarily removing yourself from the debate on which Chris is best.

My cat will tolerate my husband carrying her around, but has less patience with me.

I’ve had my rescue kitten since she was 5 months old. Had only owned dogs, never cats before. I was in college raising her with 0 help from any previous cat owners... she was held like this all the time since it felt most natural to me. Now she purrs like crazy when I do it.

Yeah, a “please” would be the exception. I remember holding my old cat on his back, him putting his paw on my face, and then extending his claws just enough.

Cats are a liquid, after all

They’re never subtle either, like if they could talk it would come out like “Ok enough. Put me down please. Now.”

We call this a ‘floof puddle’ in our house.

One of my cats lets me hold him like this, but usually not for super long. He will beg to be held though close against your chest (taps your leg repeatedly) and will often fall asleep in your arms. Unfortunately, he usually begs to be held while I’m making dinner and is not always gentle with his attention taps.

In my decades of owning cats I’ve never had one that would not let me know instantly when it doesn’t like how its being held.

We just put our baby kitty to sleep today :( Actually, she was not a baby, she was 16. It was time (probably liver failure). She was a sweetie and partially blind all her life, and also very petite. She did not like being held whatsoever but she was so up for cuddling that we pretty much just called her "couch buddy"

And if your cat -really- trusts you when you hold them like this, their spine disintegrates completely and they turn into kitty putty which is, frankly, magic.

My adoptive parents both have pretty serious mental health issues. My brother (their biological son) seems to have inherited the absolute worst of it from both sides suddenly in his mid 30s. Depression and anxiety runs on my husbands family and I have anxiety and ADHD. I don’t see the need to pass that on and I’ve
