Hmm, I might look into that. I've been using Paragon Backup and Recovery, since it's free. But I want a bit more automation to backups, to be honest.

That was me yesterday. Woke up at 6:30 to a torrent of rain and man did it just make the day feel like a grind.

I like it, actually. They've all got their corresponding key presses, so it's not hard to handle from a keyboard.

If you reformat, install everything you absolutely always must have, then make a full image backup. That way, each time you reformat, go back to that full image backup and you'll have a quicker way of it, not to mention the ability to go back to fresh whenever you want.

That's the hard part. It's always a gamble unless you're a company that has the funds to have an exact copy of what you're working on not being used so you can test backups on it. I know at home I don't have that luxury - if I test a backup restore on my own machine and it doesn't work, then it's almost as bad as if I…
