I did, couldn't resist the oppo-tunity to throw in a bad pun.

So, Jalopnik will be hiring?

Yeah, that sounds pretty ripe for disaster.

I'll second Eleanor. You know the reason he spun after the jump wasn't for show, but the impact jammed the throttle open.

Not necessarily the same as the GT. Lightning has a 2v 5.4 with an Eaton M112. GT has a dry sump 4v 5.4 with a Lysholm twin screw.

Everyone knows it's Fenton. He's Fenton!

The engines weren't terribly good in the first place, given. But when pre-emissions 298s were making ~200hp in non-HiPo trim and mid-late 70's 302s were rated at about 140hp, it becomes pretty obvious how emissions standards sucked the life out of cars in that era.

Movies don't get it right: Unsurprised.

#5: Turbocharging alone can help. Done right, it can reduce pumping losses. The gain isn't drastic, but it is possible. It also requires you to not bury the go-pedal at every opportunity, a temptation I wouldn't be able to resist.

Diesel or not, an Isuzu engine in a Mustang is sacrilege.
