One of the great original game sountracks of all time.

Excluding everything before 1978 or so.

Greg Gard, the new interim coach, recently lost his father after a long illness. That affected the timing of the transition to degree.

And now Scott Weiland of STP found dead on his tour bus. I blame this thread.

I’m right there with you.

The immediate follow-on viciousness to make sure the job was finished was impressive and frightening.

Every other team has those same revenue streams. The TV money is the same for all, and because of market size many teams have access to greater secondary reveunue streams PLUS all the others have owner contributions.

I get that, and it was probably the right call, but France is just as connected as anywhere else in the world. People had to know what was going on fairly soon after it became apparent outside the stadium. It’s remarkable that there wasn’t mass panic.

So what is GB’s alternative when the franchise needs a cash investment? There’s no family fortune or pool of 100 auto dealerships to take from. They are legally barred from selling any percentage of the team to a single deep pocket. People know exactly what they are buying when they give their money to the team and

The latter is a foul, but it negates the play only if that player injects himself into the action in some way that creates unfairness. Otherwise it’s enforced after the

One thing we learned: even curling has a concussion protocol.

ESPN is “getting out of the pop culture business”? Can a senior source be any more out of touch with his own shop’s content than this guy?

I was in that ballpark but thinking more along the lines of the dead Peacock baby.

The real problem is with having replay review. When you institute replay review, you need to have reasonably objective criteria for judging everything that is reviewable. That’s why the catch rules have become what they are. I won’t post the rules. because they’re out there for those interested. Surely the Deadspin
