We would also have accepted the Fights And Or Boobs tag on this one.

Sadly, if the provider of the car service were the NFLPA these same types of issues would likely persist.

Players can opt out of the settlement. Many will. Many more should.

"Boobs" needs to start demanding equal time on this tag.

And yet when Ezra Johnson ate a hot dog on the sideline in a preseason game everyone thought he was an asshole.

For whatever reason this reminds me of this injury wire entry from a few years ago:

It's Florida. He just wanted to be damned sure nobody thought he was armed.

The love this comment inside and out..

Actually, you can be flagged for hitting a defenseless receiver who has caught the ball. It happened just today. It's what the NFL has become.

This reminds me of the time I had a deal lined up to buy a new router table from a guy on Craigslist, but then I decided I was going to get one off EBay instead, only I tried to get cute sniping the bids and ended up with nothing. Not a big deal except my wife still gets slivers from her Christmas gift.

In a bizarre game that saw seven turnovers and three touchdowns scored by defense or special teams

The runner can always make a tackle look spectacular by being a dumbass and jumping. Was always fun to do in practice, until somebody would separate a shoulder.

Finally, just the kind of on-field enforcement the NFL needs.

Oddly enough, the guys who do their work in there are the ones who really suffer from CTE-related problems. Not that it's all about appearances or anything . . . .

I guess helmet-to-helmet only gets called when it's a flashy play in the middle of the field between DBs and WRs.

Except, by rule, merely simulating that you are taking a knee is good enough. The referee immediatly whistled the play dead. The officials then proceeded to let over 15 seconds run off the clock without making the ball ready for play. This in the same game where ASU ran a hurry up the whole game and was getting

Please list all the occasions a college or NFL team has taken a knee in the middle of the field with over 15 seconds on the clock and then not been able to run another play due to the officials not spotting the ball on time. I think there are roughly zero. Saying UW should have worried about gross officiating

Stave actually did what he should do. He took a knee and the ball was immediately spotted. If he flips it to some butter-fingered umpire and it flops around, THAT is a waste of time. The fact that he took a knee is easily verified by the referee immediately pointin t the ground (as can be seen in the replay).

They were a Pac 12 crew.

The opening of the war on the Western Front was very dynamic and colorful as well.
