Bet yet don't and tell her she's beautiful as she is without smearing chemicals on her face?
Bet yet don't and tell her she's beautiful as she is without smearing chemicals on her face?
Back when I lived at home with my parents I'd change my oil and brakes with the help of my dad. For the past few years I've been living in small apartments without any of the comforts of my home garage. Small, crowded parking lots aren't a good place to perform car maintenance, it's so much less of a pain to just take…
Ah so that's what an uncircumcised planet looks like.
"Yeah, no, that's completely inappropriate. If I'm eating a sandwich and cruising through my Facebook feed scouring for people in bikinis, I shouldn't stumble upon your grandma's dead body."
For me the biggest thing that's helped me was recording my daily calories. The first day I did it it was the end of the day and I was feeling hungry and thinking about getting a snack, then I checked my calorie counter and I was at 3,330+ already. Explained a lot. Since then I've been activly tracking my calories and…
Yah, but I don't take the calories too seriously. Micromanaging them is impossible due to labels and portions not being accurate, but it's a really good guideline to follow and it has been producing good results for me thus far. Like yesterday I got a small sub sandwich from the newsstand in the library. It didn't…
Thanks! yah I picked 1800 as goal based on what would be a decent maintenance number for the weight I want to be. Right now my 30 day average is 1824. There are days where I'll eat closer to 1600 and days where I'll eat near 2000. I really agree with the flexible aspect. I really like the altoid method because they…
I've bounced around with fad diets over the years and never found lasting results. Currently I'm just doing calorie tracking. I tracked for my first day to see exactly how much I was eating at the end of the day I was hungry and wanted a snack, so I checked my calories and realized I'd already eaten 3200 for the day.…
This just in: People don't like every aspect of their job.
90K middle class? 50K poverty line? Jesus my family has never been out of poverty lol.
Blue and pink ftw, it's not near as nasty as the super dense yellow/green that I sometimes use, though you can't get as accurate with it or give it a nice finish and paint it up. Never really checked out Alias, from what I've heard it's kind of old school, though I've been told some people at Apple still use it. Seems…
I think the title is a bit misleading, when I hear product designer I always think of a traditional industrial designer. If you said UX, interaction, or Comm designer I think it would better fit the interview and matches her degree.
"Consumer vehicles need to last a few years."
Do people buy trucks for snowy places? I've never driven one in the snow but I always see people having to put sandbags/fill the bed with snow just to attempt to drive in it. Wouldn't it be better to have something that is more balanced?
"In prison, a cellphone is an extremely coveted item—one that easily fetches hundreds of dollars on the black market."
Dang I need to go to prison to get a good deal on a off contract phone it seems.
Step 1: Claim $10 reimbursement.
Step 2: Purchase $10 worth of Bawls.
Step 3: Destroy your body with a drink that actually tastes good.
"There's nothing inherently wrong with this approach, but it means that Apple necessarily excludes poorer demographics (and countries)"
Shouldn't have tried to listen to these at work, sitting at my desk busting out laughing and snickering the whole time.
I actually did this 2 weeks ago, bought 2 cheap metal saw horses from lowes (17 bucks each) that were rated at 1,000 lbs each and threw on one of those 6' premade counter tops that are particle board with veneer on them ~20 bucks. Works great I needed extra counter space in my kitchen. Couldn't beat it for about $50,…
