Well, it was literally founded by Puritans. They’re like a red sock in the washer.

I think Adrian has genetically engineered a few other companions, who don’t quite understand cakes yet.

Wow. You and I read these novels VERY differently.

I LOVE that Mayor Nanefua apparently has a team of Ruby bodyguards.

I love how in-character Peridot offering up the coda is.

The hype I feel is immeasurable...

I continue to believe that Rey’s parentage is the least important and least interesting part of her character and was perfectly content to learn in the last movie that they were just some randos on Jakku.

I though the left hand man was the sinister one.

It was today when I realized what a great Star Wars name Ziggy Stardust is, because that’s David Bowie and you can’t convince me otherwise.

By the time this actually gets made, Tom Holland just might be old enough to play Nathan Drake.

He’ll always be the evil Dragos to me:

And history has proven that human beings are really terrible at killing off huge populations of large land animals... wait that doesn’t sound right, either.

Also, the idea that the format of cinema, or even if we narrow it to science fiction cinema, “craves action” is both a very modern and very depressing take. There’s a rich history of slow, contemplative dramas and science fiction movies. The idea that because there’s a space ship there should be fighting and phasers

It’s what’s wrong with Discovery, too. Way too much action, not enough ... well... discovery. The finale of season 2 felt like a Star Wars prequel.

Thats how I’ve always felt about it too.

Seconded. Review most of the early novels that cropped up from Bantam between the end of the series and TMP and you’ll see yes a bit of action and adventure, but also some seriously cerebral stuff.  Case in point: “The Final Reflection”.  It has Klingons! And yet very, very, thought provoking.

Exactly, it was never really about the action. There are other venues for action, but Trek was supposed to be more than just rote action.

Whenever Bullet isn’t on screen, all the other characters should be asking “Where’s Bullet?”

Steg was awesome in so many ways.

But I care about Pearl! And this article does highlight one of the more interesting tid bits of info we got from the film.

Who cares about Pearl?
