Yeah, count me in the group that was genuinely underwhelmed by the Zahn books, and continues to be bewildered that there is so much love for them.

I stayed far, far away from the Star Wars EU. I played some of the videogames that technically fell under that category, but only because they were fun games. I had no desire to read through what was essentially canonized fan-fiction.
