I AM THAT PUTZ.

How popular does a thing have to get before we’re required to hate it? I am eager to prove how much smarter and cooler and more cynical I am than the unwashed masses.

Anyone who says they like the Yub yub song is lying.

After being shot, harpooned, towed backwards, and otherwise injured, the shark dies of its wounds before it can eat Brody. Deliberate anitclimax. Worked for the book, but obviously was not suitable for the film.

Given the state of some of the walkers we’ve seen, we already know they can be gone for a goodly while and still come back.

There’s no scuba tank explosion in the book.

Scrolled down for DSP, was not disappointed.

Didn’t this same inability to consistently pick decent projects lead the the disappearance of Eddie Murphy? It seems like there’s an opportunity for an agent to step in and say HAY HOW ABOUT DOING THESE SCRIPTS THAT DON’T SUCK but I’m not sure how Hollywood works.

Oh, come on! Is no one going to step up here?

First we’ll get a title, I think.

Luke’s moment of badassery was on Jabba’s yacht.

I live to serve.

Congratulations, you’ve thought about this more than the screenwriters.

If you put them next to the upload unit, you couldn’t see the dish move--which, if it was a maintenance repeater control set, would make it even less convenient.

Principally, I’m glad we got to see the rescue scene because we got to see a Juggernaut in Imperial livery.

Given they way the T-16's cockpit is laid out, I don’t doubt anyone else would struggle.

When they recovered the Y-wings, they mentioned that they were being delivered to Dodonna’s cell, presumably already on Yavin. If Chopper Base is bombed out, that seems like a likely place they’d consolidate.

So--the problems with the film are, basically, everything I liked best about it.

Certainly, it implies something has gone disastrously awry for Phoenix Squadron if they’ve been folded into the Yavin cell.

No matter how off CGI Tarkin looked, we can’t pretend it was better than the prosthetic nightmare at the end of RotS.
