Both are semi-automatic rifles. One is made from more advanced materials and the other is made from wood... Also has a smaller magazine, etc. etc., but can perform the exact same function. However, would you admittedly call that a sporting/hunting rifle? If that is one, than why wouldn't an AR15 be considered as such?

Fun fact, this is also a semi-automatic rifle like the AR15. But, because of ignorance, the AR15 is being targeted because it looks like an M16. Which it isn't. Anyhow, both of these rifles do pretty much the exact same thing, and all people focus on is cosmetics.
