I feel the same about first year teachers. Someone had to teach people to do things (Or self taught in rare cases).

They get pay way to little I make 15K* cook at a restaurant working less then 40 hours a week.

DBE had a budget of 30 mill (still earned 55m at the box office). These guys prolly did this for under a grand. I say fox should give them a few mill, get a name to sign on so they can bill it, and then stay the hell out of the process.

If I remember right Evolution was mostly made because Fox was about to lose it's rights to Dragonball and decided to throw something together, much like that horrible Wheel of Time pilot recently.

The movie was gloriously wretched. And you're right if these guys had even a fraction of the budget of that steaming pile, they'd put together something pretty awesome. They've got the feel of the series down more than the movie ever did.

I think they did well just because they actually saw the anime.
