Sandals are good they are way better then running shoes. Never seen studies shown to increase injuries unless you continue to run with your heels which will result in massive injuries.

Heel-first is all wrong when running unless you really want to injure yourself.

If you want to run without injuries do it barefoot or with barefoot shoes, for walking cushion might be ok considering we walk with our heels for whatever reason and heel is prone to breaking stuff in our feet.

To me there are really no changes just bit of an evolution for better possibly. But I guess some think there will be some magic "YOU CANNOT MAKE THAT!" thing or something going on. I can achieve those images with my 1500€ rig that was built year or two a go. Without dropping below 30fps. For some games I can keep the 60fps.
