1. I personally really liked the setting and characters. I loved the bug world and how serious the tone of the game was even though it was a bunch of bugs haha

Nah, they were fine so your “fuck you” is null and void.
That IS a big issue. I’m surprised about that, actually.
Yeah it would actually be really cool if they remastered FO3 and NV into the more modern version of their engine, but due to their entire scripting engine changing between NV and Skyrim I doubt they want to put in that much effort to get all the advantages of the newer engine.
To me it’s unbelievable how they could fumble a triple-A franchise like Half-Life. It was one of the cornerstones of PC gaming for so long, and then just leave the ending of their game languishing... It disgusts me, it truly does. It speaks of a lack of commitment, and even basic respect, to their own customers and…
They’ve dropped TF2 loot boxes like fookin candy for...well, over a decade now, boxes that can only be opened with keys bought for $/€ 2 from their store, and which contains an assortment of random loot, most of which will not be what you want, probably, necessitating for you to buy more keys...
I saw all this shit coming back when everyone loved them. Apparently making the industry standard online DRM wasn’t a red flag to anyone else.
The Portal 2 tease via Portal 1 (Morse-code/SSTV signals) is still the best ARG I’ve ever seen.
What, so you’re saying its not normal for there to be three instances of steamwebhelper.exe running on my computer all the time?
...counter attacks, and a better-tuned difficulty. The game feels seriously unforgiving at parts, and having weapon/armor upgrades locked behind zone tiers means if you’re having trouble, grinding it out isn’t really an option
If they do port Smash 4 I hope they do it differently than MK8D and not have everything unlocked from the start. One of my favorite things to do in those games is to unlock everything and not being able to do so took away some of the early fun of MK8D for me.
Id expect smash at some point next year. First year had Kart, Splatoon, Zelda, Mario...plus a first party RPG, and a third party rpg featuring mario. I doubt Prime is coming out next year. I would think Smash....fire emblem (was that announced already?) and kirby...maybe Animal Crossing to tie into the mobile game.…
I personally think they intentionally withheld Smash until 2018 so as to not cut into Splatoon and ARMS sales and to have a tentpole title for next spring/summer.
I just want to say, really good on you! Please make sure to follow through with therapy and I wish you the very, very, very best. You may find GA to be a good place to start, as well. So know you have resources and there are people out there that understand and want to help more than anything else in the world :)
It’s only an unpopular opinion because it had no basis in reality. Find evidence that supports this view and you may get the tides to turn. Or, what may be easier is for you to read about the research that’s already been done and then change the way you think.
I agree with you, but the “virtual facepalm” is an extremely dishonest debate tactic.
wow.
I think there was like one time when I got the joke to Life in Aggro. The problem isn’t that the comics aren’t funny, but that nobody knows why they’re funny. I definitely relate with Gamercat, though.
You are correct to compare it to gambling. Many games are very specifically designed to encourage this kind of unhealthy behavior, to the extent that the design companies can no longer pretend otherwise.
TF2 is my favorite team shooter of all time still even though I haven’t played in a good while. I remember being super excited for any upcoming updates. I miss those times...
