"lol we just made this one player fly out to Alaska"

I personally think it makes a lot of sense that they would keep it on the internet only. Think about it. They can have a slice of the pie of a televised event, where plenty of other developers are in the spotlight...or they could undercut all of them and have a multi-stage viral campaign EXPLODE over the internet.

D'oh! A deer!

Either way, I refuse to buy it if they are intent on charging $16 for it. They're either completely unaware of the market or they take glee in charging relatively obscene amounts for nostalgia.

Half Life 2. (Obvious spoilers will follow).

Hey, where's Armored Core? AC2 was one of my favorite games.

I remember that the last racing game I really played was Need for Speed: Shift. I had a tactic I call the "80 MPH Spatula": I'd drive a corvette, and since the front end of the car is a sort of low-to-the-ground wedge, I'd accelerate faster than people, get behind them, and scoop them off the track, usually resulting

This game looks like it's coming along great. I pre-ordered months and months ago when they posted the first trailer, and watching the game grow makes me feel pretty confident in my investment. I could never get the hang of playing Terraria, and Minecraft didn't hold my interest for long, so here's hoping that this is

Not a fan of the NES look, but those stickers are very well done! If I had a next-gen console, I'd probably look to see what else they have.

As only it could do, Borderlands 2 is desecrating a sacred family tradition for millions with its next wildass set of missions, "The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler." available on Tuesday for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. It sounds nuts.

Most magical intro to anything. EVER.

Now playing

I'd say this song does pretty damn well for itself.

A Dreamcast. Just because.

Where's the other stick / control input? You know a good FPS is going to get ported that needs two.

1% is a HUGE number. Even if the PS4 only sold a million units, that's 100,000 costly mistakes and disgruntled customers. That's not to be downplayed, Sony.

The iOS market is incredibly competitive, and that leads to some pretty good games coming out of the mix. Fruit Ninja, NY Zombies, Oceanhorn, Infinity Blade...heck, I just learned that one of my favorite games from when I was much younger was ported over to iOS! This was a cutting-edge console game! That's crazy!

Ah, the Nokia Hand-Taco. What strange times we lived in.

Power A supplied me with a loaner iPod Touch (I have no iPhone, sad to say), with a selection of pre-installed games for me to play. These included Limbo and Bastion, the zombie shooter Dead Trigger 2, space combat sim Galaxy on Fire II HD, platforming shooter Fur Fighters, and a pair of horrible games called Otto

Great. I can't wait for this to be shoddily ported over to PC, complete with barren multiplayer and content that'll reach us a year after it reaches other platforms.

Honestly, I don't think that two hours is really enough to get a good impression of Infinite. It takes a little while to get going, but once it does, it's a great piece. One thing I have to say is that Infinite has a certain point where you make a choice about what to do with a certain character - and in previous
