Well shit my bad. We totally talked about this event in high school history nearly twenty years ago...

What’s shocking is because that’s a still photo, a lot of people think that man stopped the tanks. He was crushed to death.

F off with the participation awards for “trying.” He did a shit job and walked out of talks with less than nothing. He’s lost this round.

That’s possible. Can’t wait to find out.

With the rings open there are unlimited possibilities for new story lines spin off etc. It would actually make an awesome open space RPG.

Yeah that’s a good point. Still though there must be some low g planets or moons in the systems beyond. Ceres is .3G with the spin and living near the surface where the G’s are higher is something the residents want.

From a practical side of things it might be that building ships needs an economy of scale for

I only tip at coffee shops if I’m staying to drink/eat or otherwise receiving a service beyond the basic requirements of the transaction. Do they bring you your drink/sandwich out when it’s ready, clean up the tables after you leave etc.

For a black coffee in a paper to go cup I’m paying 1000% percent markup on,

It didn’t look large enough for that. The Expanse wiki for the books says it’s only 5 KM in diameter.

The ring space with the 1300+ rings was awesome but when Holden has a vision of himself on that planet, it’s surrounded by rings. So if the vision is to be believed then there’s a planet with several other ring spaces linked to it. Tens of thousands of rings.

I haven’t read the book but wouldn’t this be good for the belters? They’ll move out and claim systems, eventually they won’t be belters anymore. Maybe they abandon some of the more terrible places to live as they find better habitats. Having millions of people who know how to work and live in space would seem like a

This wasn’t a political choice it’s a moral choice. There’s a point where political choices go so far beyond acceptable moral society norms that regular people want nothing to do with you.

I always thought the shields created a bubble which was perfectly aerodynamic and allowed these ships the fly in atmosphere at crazy speeds with weird shapes.

Tie fighter with no shields still makes zero sense.

You just made me realize I never saw season two of Jericho. I don’t think it aired here. Need to find it now.

Delos is a massive company. They probably have a defence division.

FYI. Car2go gets the tickets and charges them back to your credit card plus a $25 processing fee.

Seriously, no other leader would stoop so low.

I’d say half don’t pay any attention or actively ignore the news with him in it. The rest think he’s a tool.

Do you know what the Florida rules on private sales are? Could they just go to a gun show, bring their license and leave with their purchases?

Seriously. They should be working on bringing the costs down. In five years it hasn’t gotten cheaper to produce or administer, but they’ve come out with new versions that work better?

Recently stayed at Caesars. If you show up in your swimwear (Shorts, polo and flip flops) to the pool, they just give you a towel and let you in. No one checked ID’s or keys. I don’t think they care because they know people spend $12-25 a drink.
