I don’t agree with you on that point. The story is cool and all the references (mishmash, as you want to call it) made me very happy! Maybe because of nostalgia, but it might also be because the 80s just had a completely different style of story telling and filming.

I can imagine 2 situations:

I have a friend who believes a lot of the conspiracy theories, for example the one where the Dutch royal family would be part of some orphan-sacrificing, devil-worshipping cult, because someone who claims to have worked close to the family, has come out with that story.

Can someone explain how one of my mom’s colleagues showed up on my “People you may know” list? I’m not friends with my mom (she doesn’t have Facebook), I don’t know this colleague, my mom’s work is 800km from where I live and it is freaking me out.
