Zelda did it!

Thanks for a very nice list of games! Just to be sure: Escape should be Escape: The Curse of the Temple right? I’ve put them on my list!

I really tried playing without fast-travel, but the shear amount of side-quests I was collecting made me drop that. Fast-travel has really made it a lot easier to cut down the amount of quests and when I start to run out, I just start walking to my Objectives :)

My fix? I play the story and don’t care about anything else. I could’ve continued with Far Cry 4 for hours after finishing the story, but I got all the upgrades to my gear and freed all towers and towns (that’s the first thing I did), so I didn’t see anymore reason to continue. Ripping all posters down? No thank you.

I have friends who go to Essen every year, I might ask them to pick one up. Pandemic sounds really cool! (we played the “opposite” once on my iPad, Plague Inc., even though that’s not even a co-op game, and it was cool!)

Problem is that I would hate the game myself (at least the playthrough where I let her win). I did it a bit with Risk, by trying to win all from Oceania and not having any other soldiers on the board. I had fun, she had fun, we want to play it again :D But if I sincerely play to lose, I’m afraid I’d hate it.

Holy shit, those Legendary games are expensive! Pandemic: Legendary goes for ~£150 on Amazon!

Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind! Does the betrayer in Camelot get picked from the start (as in, does the betrayer know he is a betrayer), or do players decide while the game is being played?

Mysterim is supposed to be Mysterium (Tajemnicze Domostwo) I guess? Funny, I was over at a Polish friend’s house where they played it. Some kind of mix between Cluedo and Dixit if I understood it correctly?

Yea, I really don’t mind smashing my fictive enemies’ heads in boardgames, but if it pisses off my girlfriend, it’s no fun anymore. :P I’ll keep the “I need to win this”-games for other situations.

Forbidden Island or Desert?

Yep, it actually has been on my wishlist for a while now. Might purchase that before The Grizzled actually.

Pandemic was actually already on my wishlist. I also ran into Forbidden Island just now, is it comparable? It seems to be in the same series.

Somber is okay, if we want fun, we’ll play CAH ;) Thanks for the tips, I put them on my list. Pandemic was actually already on there!

My girlfriend is a really bad loser. If she plays a game for the first time and she loses, chances are I will never be able to play with her again. This is why I’m looking for games where you cooperate (like The Grizzled, which I’ll purchase now).

Please start with posting level-ID when talking about some epic level!

I agree. I work better on a 27” 1440p screen than on two 24” 1080p screens. Would love to have a 4K, but I have no reason for it, haha!

It wouldn’t be the first time Nintendo has completely changed/overhauled the graphics of a game between E3 and release. I think part of this delay is because of the graphics.

Or this one: I drank ten beers and don’t remember liking this

Since when does a mix of black and white result in silver?

So I guess we can expect a Pokémon Z-game in the not so distant future? They kinda skipped the “3rd game in the same generation” with Black & White, so I didn’t expect it to happen here. Then again “Pokémon Grey” sounds dumb.
