From the Jurassic Park wiki:

I listen to the unabridged full cast version about once a year. Can’t recommend it enough. It’s a little mired in cultural references to the early 2000s, and I get annoyed by every character using certain terms; “The last brush fire war” (Iraq & Afghanistan) comes to mind. But it’s a great listen overall.

I’ve lived in the Oklahoma City area since 1997. Josh Dial probably should have qualified his statement as “We’re a rare breed in *rural* Oklahoma.” OKC has a large LGBTQ+ community, have a pride parade, even have a gay district with the “largest gay resort in the southwest.”

I do think libertarians and conservatives

I mean, I feel bad for the guy for seeing someone accidentally shoot himself in the head in front of him. But, on the other hand, the irony of a libertarian asking other people to pay for his medical expenses is hilarious.

The helmet always makes me think of this:

I think you mean a “Walkman.”

Cue people saying that the character is ruined because they didn’t cast Ashley Eckstein in 3...2...1...

“Essential”

It just cuts to black when the grenade blows up in Jojo’s face.

Jojo Rabbit was cleared by Chinese censors? I guess a plot involving questioning your government is okay so long as that government isn’t China.

You know, I re-watched the prequels before Rise of Skywalker came out, and, aside from a few glaring issues, overall the movie wasn’t as bad as I remembered.

Maybe I’m just not very good at picking out good writing, acting, directing, etc., (which would be tragic since my degree was in writing with a minor in film, but not beyond the realm of possibility) but I did not hate this movie.

Like, it’s by no means perfect. There are things I would have done differently. On the

This seems like the perfect time to learn to bake my own bread. I wish I would have thought of it.

I wasn’t feeling that anxious until yesterday. I live in Oklahoma City, and we only have a handful of confirmed cases in the state, but I’ve already had two friends tell me that they had potential exposures to the virus.

Rusty (top) and Maggie (bottom). We’ve had Rusty since 2012. He is a 9 year old stumpy-tailed Australian Cattle Dog (probably a mix). Maggie we got in 2017, she is 4 years old, and is also an Australian Cattle Dog mix (we think perhaps a Pit mix).

If Lucasfilm is so bent on more Indiana Jones movies, I think I’d rather see a new actor take the role (keep it in the same timeline and period as the originals, just a different actor) than see an 80 year old Indy slow-run through action set pieces.

That’s some out-of-the-box thinking. I like it.

If she’s only in two or three episodes in the season again, I would think she’d have plenty of time.

Oooh, that’s actually a good point. I had never even heard of In Fabric, but I just looked it up and you’re totally right. And she’s 6'3", where Carano is 5'8". I’m hoping they go more of a practical effect for Jen Walters (makeup rather than CGI), so I’d prefer a taller actress. I know there’s all kinds of tricks

I think I’d lean more toward Betty Gilpin than Alison Brie. Brie is just too short.
