I find it weird that I only listen to the music I liked in high school and college to this day. I expanded my listening base to hardcore, metal, and faster alternative. I never did “the hang a Pink Floyd poster in my dorm room and listen to 70’s rock bullshit” most people in college did.

2005 Subaru Outback XT

I sat in my room and played this game after my parents got a divorce. I remember Robo having to fight his girlfriend. It was his optional side quest. This game got me through some hard times and remains one of my favorite games to this day.

I always wonder if I expose my child to Super Mario Bros they will be more grounded. Maybe let her play Castlevania for an extra dose of frustration.

I thought Firewalker was a horrible mix of fireball and any Cider beer that has been introduced in the last year. I will buy weird beers if I see them. My local gas station had a tall boy of this horribleness. I think it cost $2.50. I would rather buy two Mickeys.

I have already blow up and replaced one turbo. It decided one day it did not like me. It was the turbo banjo bolt filter aka good Subaru engineering. If I replace this turbo I am sure it will happen again. If I trade it in it will be a new owners problem and I feel bad about that.

My car just went through 3 1/2 quarts in 600 miles. The Subaru dealership told me to drive 200 miles and see if I was a quart low. No smoke and no visible leaks. I think I should write a children's book called "Oil goes to Mystery Town". I think my turbo is eating it.

I just had my heads redone on my Subaru. I talked to the mechanic and he said they only supply short blocks not entire engines. If something is wrong with the heads you just get the plain new head and they have to install all the old parts back onto it. They got lazy and skipped that time consuming process.

If you define highly reliable as a new engine every 100k miles. Its amazing how many Subaru's are on craigslist with new engines.

Subaru people crack me up (I am one). This is a better car than the STI and its more reliable. STI engines have tons of problems....broken ringlands, burnt valves, turbos grenading, etc. 4B11 can produce more power for money spend. I own a 05 Outback XT. I like turbo Subaru's but they require a ton of maintenance.

I know people who will look for the base model. They do not want power anything. No electric windows, Sunroof, info screen, mirrors, etc. Less that can go wrong. Probably hard to find a car like that nowadays.

I like crank windows. Someday when the electronics go haywire the cranks will still work.

ringland failure is a popular option.

My greatest barf story. My friend told me this story the next morning I only remember the end of the night.

I think I was about eight years old and we were driving home from my grandmas. I was reading the whole ride home and when I exited I felt pretty car sick. My older brother made some sort of joke and I laughed right when I started barfing. It shot out of my nose like a fire hose. Yep I projectile vomited out my nose.

you will reach the point of no return - the what the @$&£ Was I Thinking stage

The only problem with Subaru is the inevitable head gasket issue. "But they fixed it in 06"........nope
