I don’t think you’re going to see that person provide an example of the U.S. Navy protecting the environment, especially considering the fact that the Navy is currently doing one hell of a job of killing thousands of whales and dolphins each year:

Brilliant. To any MURCAN PATRIOT it is axiomatic that the US military must always, always get bigger and more expensive. Military spending is already preposterously high. How will “fixing” the Navy or making more big, shiny toys help us? Not at all.
The future of warfare, as the Russians are so ably demonstrating now,…
Yeah, we really could’ve stopped reading at this line:
Our economic interests end at our borders. We don’t need a navy for that. We can keep shipping lanes open in partnership with other countries.
A lions share on people that dont work? you just described peacetime military!
weve got airbases all over the place as well. we dont need capabilities double or triple the size of the next most powerful country. we just need enough.
Wait...are you suggesting that despite there not having been a major naval battle in more than a half century that multi-billion dollar submarines aren’t a good use of money? Lunacy my friend! Lunacy!
Although the entire “deal” was a lie. All he did was announce a bunch of things the Saudis expressed interest in, but can’t afford right now, or deals that have already gone through years ago.
A C230 isn’t exactly “late model.” It doesn’t have adaptive cruise control sensors, lane-keeping detection sensors, collision detection sensors for the automatic braking system... etc. etc. etc. that would need to be replaced after the bumper gets ripped off like that.
Your comment: “a new bumper can’t be more than $1000 tops.” Apparently my mistake was assuming that by “new” you meant “new,” not “from a wrecked car of a different model, repaired in my driveway and then repainted a different color.”
You wrote “ A new bumper can’t be more than $1000 tops” then in your reply you just said used total costs $400. That still doesn’t disprove his comment stating your new cost estimate is way off. How the hell is that responding to his comment anyway.
Maybe instead of math, they should teach austerity courses and have mandatory symposiums on self-control. Wait, no, that would mean the collapse of Western civilization.
50% is a lot. It’s half.
And the number will increase as we turn more towards renewable energy and refine the production process for electric cars.
Ah, engine reliability, the primary concern of the $3,000,000 hypercar buyer.
It’s alright.
Cameras everywhere will discourage such things.
I am a leaf on the road. Watch how I charge.

Alright so after a grueling ten minutes of dimension hunting, in the 2017 models the prius is between 1/2 and 1 in smaller in rear hip and shoulder room, leg room is the same, headroom is the same, but the prius is in fact smaller.
