The original Top Gear review and later trip was the one that did it for me. “This car is insane!!!! But it is a bit meh. Enjoy it for what it is!!!”

I’m not sure if you really know what your talking about. The gap that you feel when doing a valve job will always get tighter, the explosions in the combustion chamber push the valve further into the seat over time. So what you pretty much said was I have never seen a Honda that needed a valve except for the ones that…
Lol, wait until you hit one of the dozens of spots where you’ll need a triple square. It’s hardly just begun my friend.
H,B,D and some F and K engines have screw and nut rockers, needing setting every 40,000km. If you don’t find them out of spec go get a set of metric feelers and put the imperial shit in the garbage where it belongs. If you haven’t seen a K out of spec you have never worked on one, they are (were) notorious for sinking…
Lol that’s the crank nut. Yes, I have had lots of experience with them getting stuck. The older Hondas with the engine that has the intake on the back side spin counterclockwise, tightening the shit out of that bolt.
I always strip out my Honda valve cover bolts. Normally they’re fucked already since Hondas should have constant valve jobs and they do occasionally get done, and the bolt threads are quite fine. Thankfully there’s normally enough meat for a threadsert.
Could I ask what car?
My opinion is electric cars will really take off when capacitors have greater capacity. Even if you had half the capacity of a equivalent size battery, the near instant charging rate (essentially as fast as you can draw) and no-wear properties will make batteries instantly undesirable.
The average home service is 100a, with the standard 15 years ago being 60a, so there’s lots of 60a homes around, and that 100a principal breaker can only be loaded 80% before it trips. So besides the fact that you couldn’t have anything else on at the time of charging, in most cases even theoretically drawing that…
Approx. 30amps at 800v for 15 minutes.
Here’s a bigger one, how the fuck do you get 800v supply? I’m an electrician, your utility company cannot and does not have a means to supply such voltages, they would need custom transformers and to re- do the supplies to your house. In short, never gonna happen.
No, Ottawa is a pretty nice looking nominee, but it in no way is fun to drive in. Confusing as all hell, infastructure focus on pedestrians, limited visibility everywhere, horrible signage, french people and signs, big fucking river causing bottlenecks and all kinds of stoppages. It’s a beautiful place and I love it,…
I literally mean Florida and some surrounding areas. Unless your saying if you haven’t been to Miami you haven’t seen anything.
I couldn’t find that thread, not sure exactly how. Do you make sure you have sunglasses these days?
I mean if you drew a line from New Orleans to Atlanta I have never been South/east of that line. There’s a road there I swear.
I have driven, however briefly, in almost every major North American city. As much as I loved the race track/parking lot that is NYC, I give my hat off to Boston. In rush hour I was never doing less than 10 mph over. I was in a big pack going into a tunnel that had a sign that more or less said “if you do more than 50…
I bet when your trying to decide how hot to go into a corner now you get flashbacks, not only to your crash, but to all those people pointing and laughing.
Well I’m a back yard mechanic and I have a buddy across the city that is as well. He lives in a poorer community and I live in a slightly above middle community. I specialize in Japanese cars, and he doesn’t touch imports, so he gets me to do the work on them. Do you know how many Japanese cars I work on? Next to…
This is what a video of “shit that people were ironically wrong about in the 80’s” highlights:
I like these stories, there’s no was it isn’t true when the Sebring lives and the caravans die. Your clearly not a fanboy.
