In most countries in Europe diesel costs more than gas, but I still prefer the latter. I drive a 1.0EB Focus in diesel enamored France (one of the few countries where diesel is cheaper than gasoline) getting 52mpg US (4.5l/100km when really-really feather-footing) on my normal route.
Did you miss the entire "omg i have too many cars - have you any idea what tires cost?" saga, some time ago?
big-brotherish? that's Great Britain you're talking about, the camera capitol of the world.
Or grab the mandated fire extinguisher (that has to reside in the passenger compartment) and try putting it out. (in Europe, where this video seems to originate/Citroëns are sold)
Billions not required. Being obsessive and devoting your life to it might just work ;)
That's the one that gave me the idea for that reply (saw it on Jay Leno's). I'm wondering if the same kind of tech could be used today, with a few improvements.
Never had that happen, but seen many power windows do that. Thanks for the enlightenment.
Look in the glove box/under the seat/spare tire.
Union built mass-produced cars are bound to have less quality/care put into them during assembly than a hand-built vehicle.
In Europe I'd say non-german fast RWD wagons.
Except it has the height of a skyscraper, oh wait, that is American.
manual windows don't have the tendency to drop into the doors unexpectedly
I think that if they'd throw some engineers at it, the steamer might be a viable economical transport. Like feather-footing/hypermiling but it'd be automatic and on a boiler instead of direct gassing.
Experience :) , though I'm speaking from a place where there's a lot of cross-border commuting with Switzerland on 2-lane roads (that's one lane in each direction with agricultural equipment sharing it), with heavy traffic. The reason for motorbiking is the same though, you'll get to work faster. I guess after a…
Here in France I always stay to the right when I see a motorcyclist coming from behind, I get a nice little thank you in the form of 'right leg of the peg'. Then again, that only happens at speeds of less than about 50kph (30mph is thereabouts, i.e. during heavy traffic). That is to say that "let's all get along"…
I think this was a concept that ended up as smoke, not vapor.
Thanks for bringing back memories. I meant this Mi8
All the countries in Europe haven't been able to solve the European problem, now GM's done it? Do elaborate.
