He's one of the best GS speedrunners playing 4G now lol. This was his first try against an extreme monster. He got much better against them, if you haven't seen any of his more recent vids you should.

He's not undergeared. That's one of the best GS mixed sets in the game, and he's pretty close to the defense cap too. Extreme monsters are just that strong. They're also immune to status, element, traps, are much harder to flinch...they're even immune to the effects of mind's eye, so even with that you'll bounce on…

Sounds like you're letting everyone else do all the work. Why bother with evade skills if you're not even gonna fight that much? They're meant to keep you alive *while* you fight. If anything with those extra I-frames and evade distance (whichever you're using if not both) you should be fighting moooore aggressively.

SnS terrible? You need to learn to use the thing, it's one of the best weapons in the game. Tons of endgame speedruns are with SnS. A weapon being accessible to newcomers and being bad are not the same thing.
