The hate for AZ isn’t warranted at all. You know what the weather looks like in Phoenix from now until May? 70* and sunny. June-September can be rough, yes, but you don’t have to shovel sunshine, and air conditioners were invented for a reason.
Yep. This is something non Giants fans will NEVER understand. Nothing is ever going to top beating the Patriots when they were 18-0. The only thing that could top it will never be done like winning 5 Super Bowls in a row or something like that.
You know, as a Cleveland fan (who doesn’t care much about the Cavs), I’m glad you said this. I’ve always tried to picture what it would be like to stumble into a couple Super Bowls... and I always picture it exactly how you just described.
The world needs more fans like you.

“You know I love traffic! I get to get caught up on all the different license plates I haven’t read yet!”
It was a great book. Sequel was also good...recommend it highly as well.
Tragic. One wonders if this situation could’ve been avoided if Uber cars were more readily identifiable, perhaps all painted and designed in a specific uniform pattern, their drivers also unionized and licensed specifically to insure a certain degree of safety to both the passenger and driver alike. These driver’s…
Aggro Crag or GTFO. Drew obviously has no Guts.
Those and The Eliminator from American Gladiators are the Holy Trinity of game show finishes.
GUTS was immediately the first thing I thought of when I read the title. Shame, Drew!
Was thinking the same exact thing - where is the love for GUTS?
Came Looking for mention of Guts & the Aggro Crag (I mean who DIDN’T wanna take home a piece of the rock?). Completely forgot about Legends of the Hidden Temple (but glad to see many mentions of it).
I’m a Knicks/Mets/Rangers fan, and feel exactly the same way. I loathe Dolan, but he isn’t shy about spending money.
They needed money in the short term. It’s not uncommon. With the available funds they were able to sign Mike Hampton to a one year deal, and make the World Series. And when he left they received the compensation pick that became David Wright, who was the face of their franchise for a decade.
They invested the Bonilla money with Madoff, because Madoff was the one who recommended such deal.
I think this deal gets overblown. Sure it’s funny, but it honestly makes some sense: the Mets could have made more by investing the backloaded money each year. Lots of players have this type of contract language: I think Manny Ramirez is getting more than $1 million a year from Boston until 2025.
I don’t see anything for BoJack Horseman, so there’s your snub.
It’s ludicrous that BoJack Horseman got snubbed, especially after Time's Arrow.
