I mean, they’re paying one partner (who will probably do very little doc review, if any) $540/hour. One attorney with that firm is billing $220/hour. The other firm is charging $415/hour for partners and $285/hour for associates. He’s a dick and fuck him and all that, sure, but the numbers really aren’t all that…

As a fellow East Coast resident, I agree/sympathize (I would particularly love to be able to watch the NFL on a Pacific Time schedule). But where do ticket sales come into play here? I’m sure it would be much harder for them to fill the arena at 5 PM local time.

S’mores are terrible, because crumbly graham crackers cannot hold that sandwich. Also, we romanticize the idea of s’mores around a campfire, but you can’t make a good s’more with standard campfire tools, because the chocolate needs to be substantially melted for the thing to work.

This isn’t my area of law, but I do find it interesting that although some earlier versions of Andrews’ complaint include as an alleged injury “loss of earning capacity”, the third amended complaint (the one where the claim of $75 million in damages comes into play) does not — rather, it claims “expenses and damages…
