Who the fuck are Gate Five? I had a quick google to see what their development history is and could find nothing (I admit, it was a very quick search).
I too am concerned about the lack of official updates, and especially because those far too infrequent blog posts from Sony contain no information at all.
I've found the "source". It's an anonymous poster on a minor messageboard who appears to hail from Turkey. As expected, he offers no proof of the statement or that he has any inside knowledge whatsoever.
Smells like a bollocks forum post from someone with no more knowledge than the rest of us.
It's true that the Steam version sold more, but one cannot discount the huge amount of visibility the game garnered from being part of the Xbox Game Feast.
