While the combat and movement is very fluid and fun over the previous two mainline titles (especially KH1), I haven’t brought myself to finish this game yet. I am near the end of the game but it just seems... I dunno... Hollow compared to the previous titles. Like none of the stuff being done really matters, I guess.

This makes the very slight battery life increase of the Lite even more disappointing.

also please nintendo reward me for my joyless toiling in pocket camp. it must give me some kind of boon in the new game, right? right?!

I hope crafting isn't the only/main way to get furniture. It's nice to have goals to work towards, but surprises were something that makes most animal crossing games fun. It wasn't the only/worst sin of Pocket Camp, but the complete lack of surprise in what furniture you got really contributed to how stale the game…

Wanna go out and see the real world? We have a game for that! Wanna literally sleep your life away? we have a game for that!

I suspect Artifact would be wildly popular if they kept everything exactly the same except changing the card art to pornography.

I still hold that InFamous and its sequel have the best movement system of any open-world game to date. I’d totally buy a remastered version of these (and the Halloween episode too).

Love it. Crossplay/cross-save are masterfully executed. No excuses anymore for why this can’t happen (especially the latter) in games like Destiny. 

Also Mentos doesn’t make people like you more and smile at you for no reason. Sue them!

Knowing when to concede is probably the 2nd most important skill in magic. The first being how to mulligan properly. If you play 2 hours every day and play out every game even if it is hopeless. You will probably end up wasting 2-3 hours every week which could earn you more wins. Time is money after all.

Their game design seems to trend to being the “fun police.” They’ve got a very narrow vision of their game and anything that falls outside of that is removed regardless of how much fun it is.

It’s genuinely the best adaptation of Magic: The Gathering I’ve ever seen for the computer (barring my fond memories of the joyful but incredibly flawed Shandalar).
