Because you had time to step back and realize that the games are great at offering the illusion of an adventure, until you step back and realize that all the enemies respawn in the world and you choices amount to jack shit. The game world would be the same no matter the player character.

I don’t think it’s that “night” is overused in Cyberpunk so much as it is “The environment is so fucked up and polluted that Beijing smog on steroids is as sunny as it gets”

Yeah, for a game in the Cyberpunk genre to have a trailer which mostly features daytime is definitely weird (not to mention the game takes place in a city literally called Night City).

It feels like they took the classic cyberpunk aesthetic and put a modern spin on it. So it doesn’t look like a 1980's version of the future. As much as I love the classic cyberpunk aesthetic, I do dig the upgrade they’re doing.

It was delayed to avoid massive day 1 patches, but then launched with.....a massive day 1 patch. lol
