This was actually my first Atlus game when it was released on Xbox 360. Imagine my delight when I discovered that Persona 5 basically was Catherine but with Jrpgs instead of puzzles and like 7 times longer.

I liked the puzzles just ok in Catherine. If anything, it makes me wish that the same team would tackle other types of games, but with the same awesome social system that frames each levels. Can you imagine a shooter, fantasy dungeon crawler, or DMC style game where you end/start each level at a stylized hang out…
Qatheryn, obviously.
OMG So now there was Sexy Catherine, Mature Catherine and I am assuming the pink haired gal is the cute Catherine. I wonder if she is gonna be the girl next door type. Wondering how they are gonna spell her name. maybe throw a Y in. Maybe she goes by Cathy?
If they’re adding more story, hopefully they’ll make Katherine more likable (just my opinion, of course). While she’s fully justified in being frustrated with Vincent’s commitment issues, her general personality (very domineering towards Vincent, even outside of those commitment issues) and unpleasant attitude kind of…

Not devil. Succubus.
i dont get the point of making anything for vita anymore. if it wasnt dead before, it sure is now that the switch is here. who is this for? nobody is oing to go out and buy a vita at this point, so the people who are already stuck with one? yeah cuz thats a huge install base outside of japan (sarcasm).
So, fun fact: Catherine launched on the same time on Xbox 360. That’s not a big deal (to be honest, nothing about Catherine probably qualifies as a big deal, and I say this as the only person I know who completed the game on hard and tried to get other people to play it) except for the fact that is a backwards…
This isn’t Catherine 2!
Devil titties every time!
But how is it spelled!!!
Or a person with regular feelings.
Or a super devil
This is great. There’s still nothing else out there quite like Catherine, especially on the console front. It tackles subjects that most games shy away from or gloss over, and it does so with a sense of style that nobody but Atlus can pull off. Definitely going to pick this up.
Kotaku has lost a lot of the Japanese gaming/media/cultural coverage that used to draw me to it in the last few years, likely due a mix of staff turnover and the ownership change - that’s not to say I don’t enjoy Mike’s reviews of off-beat games (from both West and East), crazy toys, and the (sadly much less-frequent…
I, uh . . . I kinda want to take this one step further.
I don’t like Zelda games. Okami is basically just a very pretty Legend of Zelda, and I never got into it either. I’ve played every single one prior to Twilight Princess, and I always just find myself annoyed at the feeling that I’m constantly missing things. When…
Legends speak of the mighty hero Link, adorned in his garb of a Nintendo Switch T-shirt and the Majora’s Mask, destroying a giant metal robot octopus with a laser chainsaw sword on the back of a motorcycle.
They stopped idiots from doing stupid things.
