I really like the Game Centre CX game where the player play fake retro video games with the game mascot and buying fake game guides and merchandise of those game and this seems right up my alley.

Except this webcomic comic is written as a pet project of an illustrator who is already working in the field as well as Konami since 2010 (see Elebits and Fairy Musketeers for his works), which is quite different from the “fan entering industry” case.

Made in Abyss is really a great anime! From what I gather, the highly detailed yet stylised background are handled by illustrators from Studio Ghibli. I can’t wait when the anime feature that one character lol.

While the songs and character model are great, forcing the colourful graphic design of P4 onto P3 looks very ugly tbh. They keep the colour scheme of P5D consistent but what happen to P3D?

The opening is really clever - The djmax game title are all written on the tombstone of the graveyard and a fangirl trying to revive all old characters by sacrificing all those limited edition goods. And then the cover girl of DMP1 transform into the mascot of Respect... It’s so beautiful it’s almost poetic.

Still waiting for the microtransaction hell that is Animal Crossing mobile lol
