Yes! Although I don’t watch BL, I am a fan of this game! The inconsistent graphic and voice acting quality you receive each click is so deliciously planned out. You will have characters drawn by pencil and then the next click will be an extremely well done CG.

I blame bad timing. Kimi no naha and Koe no katati are both very strong competitors and suck up all media exposure and attention of its potential audience. 

History told us blank large open world will bring bad critics review and I guess less developer will do that now :p

But the game has a trial version in PS Store already I guess? Some game genre, especially music game, leaves you no incentive to buy legit copy if you have the ability to unlock and play all songs for free by pirating.

I never get the collision detection of Rez. Some attack seems to hit me while some are not. Child of Eden makes it more visible and audible but I just cannot enjoy Rez HD as much due to this.

I think it will open up when they update it with more cards and monk type from the Japanese version. The lack of support cards and attack cards with additional buff/debuff effect makes the game is quite repeitive as you mentioned.
