Yes, you can turn the SE off, or choose from the 50-ish SE as you like. The one in the video is the default SE and more can be unlocked.

This game will not have such problem because your note will just have a generic SE when pressed and will not contribute to the melody of the music.

The reason of the game underperformed, imo, is because the concept of taking a serious/dark twist to childhood memories is too saturated in recent years.

oh, thank you for your clear explanation. :) I still have not buy the game but the interchangeable states of vehicle is so lego and interesting in this toy-to-life genre and I’m decide to buy it in near future. :D
