If Tom got paid to go to the dentist, he’d probably go to the dentist.

Seriously....when I was talking with this salesperson it felt like he was performaing a script drilled into him by some slimy manager.

nailed the zeitgeist

Whoosh.  Thank you Captain.

Remnants of old Jalopnik is good Jalopnik :D

They REFUSED to publish my story about my Miata getting locked to a Supercharger! It’s been there 7 months, still on E.

Another Tesla hit piece from Jalopnik. You wouldn’t even be writing about a car being locked to a Supercharger if it weren’t a Tesla! I haven’t seen a single post on Jalopnik about other cars locked to Tesla Superchargers.

In addition to what other people have already said here, there’s a distinction between tracking and watching something. They’ll probably check in on its trajectory from time to time (or better yet, have alerts), but not likely pay someone to view it on a monitor exclusively 24/7 until they’re laid off when the thing

That actually had me confused for a couple days after they got hired and started writing. I couldn’t figure out why so many articles were suddenly about Mercedes.

ID.4 comes with 3 years of free charging at Electrify America (owned by VW, largest public fast charging network in the US)

BMW or Mercedes driver?

It’s crazy the lengths people will go to in order to avoid 100 extra steps to the front of the store.  Here in New Jersey, people hate to walk so I often see people spending 5-10 minutes waiting for a spot near a store or mall entrance when there are dozens of spots that are maybe an extra 30 seconds of walking away
