Agreed. I've seen bright red R8s (my favorite color) with color-matched/no side blades and I think it looked a lot better. Tastes in side blades are like assholes, though...

I agree. I'm about ten years older than you and have been in the entry level luxury coupe market for over a decade. I've done Bimmers and have an Audi now. I want to like the ATS, but it's bland (although the ATS-V is better). And then there's the old-man stigma you mentioned. I'll stick with Germans for now.
