It seems pretty clear that Karma simply didn’t have any idea what they were doing when they launched the service. I’m quite happy with Refuel, and always have been—don’t use enough mobile data in a month to need a monthly plan. But apparently Karma was way too optimistic when it started to offer “unlimited” bandwidth.

As I understand it—bearing in mind it’s just hearsay, not anything I heard from HG—Big West and Studio Nue aren’t interested in working with Harmony Gold. And, as many anime studios have been, they’re not really concerned enough with Western markets to go to any legal effort to put stuff out there.

You’ll get a bigger discount if you go to one of the conventions Mayfair attends, like Gen Con or Origins, and collect all five ribbons from their game demo tables. Then you’ll get a 50% discount on one game of your choice. I snagged their “Catan Traveler” edition that way this year.

It’s Cory Doctorow novel stuff. :) I could see the protagonist from the “Little Brother” novels using this to share data at resistance group meetings in a way the government couldn’t sniff. :)

That’s because you’re not living in a Cory Doctorow novel. :)

Could someone rewrite this article to remove all the hyperbole and put the relevant information near the top instead of at the very end? Sheesh.

And Chris “Moe the Barkeep” Latta.

You contradict yourself when you say Taco Bell food is too salty, but you have a goiter from eating it. Commercial salt is iodized, which means iodine was added to it, expressly for the prevention of goiters. If you eat anything flavored with commercial salt, you're not going to get a goiter.

I strongly suspect this game is intended to be a sort of "alternative continuity" to the original Borderlands games. The fact that the archetypes are roughly equivalent to the four Vault Hunters from the original game (right down to a "bird" for the hunter!) and one of the boss villains strongly resembles Sledge

This is why the stores with more savvy, like Fry's Electronics, will only match prices on things that are sold specifically by Amazon. I don't think "Amzon Electronics" would fool them.

Arby's doesn't have WiFi at every location last I checked. The one I lived near in Springfield, MO until last year didn't at the time I left. (Of course, I suppose it might by now.)

Speaking of poop transportation...

Heineken's not skunky if you do the sensible thing and drink it from a can, y'know.

Press ($3) is probably my personal favorite feed reader for Android. It supports Feedly Cloud, so if you already use Feedly, all you have to do is connect Press with your Feedly account. If you don't use Feedly, Press also supports syncing via FeedBin and FeedWrangler (and Fever is coming soon). Press also supports

I'll bet if an American company built this it would only cost about half as much, given the higher cost of living in Japan.

Steamgamesales.com is a good deal tracker for most of the major game e-stores.

"WOLF! WOLF! ...hey, what's the problem? It got your attention, didn't it?"

Right, they crossed the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean, perhaps, ending up in South America.

Roth didn't "outsmart" Wikipedia. He did exactly what they wanted him to. Rather than just telling the editors, "These are the facts. Really," he put the facts down into immutable citable published form. So even if he should change his mind down the road (like Ray Bradbury famously did in 2007, claiming Fahrenheit 451
