@SolidSquid: "The issue seems to be more a case of it slow baking your lap rather than roasting it."

@TBGBoodler: I stand corrected. Wow. I really was not aware that a laptop can slow-roast your thighs without you even noticing... (creepy? maybe just a little...)

I honestly hope this post is a joke. "laptop computers can pose a health risk... —due to extended heat exposure on the thighs and groin. Use a lap desk to minimize your risk."

@zeeanonamouse: Installing using Wubi makes it so Ubuntu can't run as fast and can't go into sleep mode, and there's no Wubi for 10.10 last time I checked.

Pretty cool, but WriteMonkey still kicks butt.

I really wish I could get one of those...

@shkm: Yep I'm kinda a sucker for simplicity, so I'd rather not dual-boot, I'll probably wait until I can get my hands on another capable computer. The only thing I'd really be using Ubuntu for is playing around (and whining that there's nothing close to Compiz, Docky, or Gnome Do for windows), so I'll be fine. If

@shkm: Glad you submitted the request on launchpad!

@zeeanonamouse: Cairo isn't quite as smooth as Dock, but it's really a matter of preference.

@shkm: Docky is improving at a fast rate, so I'm sure it'll surpass AWN soon. Send the Docky team a feature request on #docky on irc.freenode.net, they might be interested.

AWN? Docky's much better!

@r3loaded: I wasn't sure if you wanted to pay for it or not, if you didn't then you're right, it's not an option. Ninite is still a great option, but it doesn't do everything.

@Ekstor: Very true, whitelisting sites you honestly like and want to support is a great practice.

@wjglenn: So true, I just whitelisted them from Chrome AdBlock.
