The only 'small' problem I'm encountering with commenting on Lifehacker is that my account isn't approved! I'd appreciate it if you'd approve me, lifehacker editors - I promise whole-heartedly not to post spam, junk, or none-too-helpful flame comments, and I will always try my best to use correct grammar and spelling.
@the_Sleepwalker: Talk about a blunt way to destroy a point made by Lifehacker...
I'm really glad that Vista got crushed. No explanation needed. #operatingsystems
I almost never use the webpage. It's fast, sure, but it doesn't make any sense to use it when Chrome, Firefox, and EVEN Internet Explorer have options to get google search on the top toolbar. I used to use iGoogle but it just wasn't my thing - I dunno, it looks kinda ugly, ya know? I stick to Chrome's popular site…
You should've added Estherpad to this list. It's a real-time collab writing tool that works better than Zoho. [etherpad.com]
According to google's web history, I search the most at 6 p.m. Of course, not everything I do is google searches, but it's probably around them when I'm most active.
The whole point of a window notification system is for it to be BUILT-IN to the OS. If it's not, don't even bother getting another ugly, resource hogging app that tries to do the same thing. (And fails.)
I'll be keeping Chrome, thank you. I liked Firefox while I used it, and it's certainly better than IE8, but it's missing speed and simplicity. The add-ons are cool at first, but they get annoying, bog down the browser, and make things sluggish. And if you take them away, then what's the point of firefox, besides a…
@tylerf: I dunno, it looks rather unhealthy to me. Probably has loads of Trans Fat, too. And sugar - tons of it, I bet. I'd take that wish back if I were you.
Ah, as funny as some of you may find this, it too true to be humorous to me. Alas.
As much as I like Growl in Mac OSX, it really isn't worth getting a third-party app to do the same thing - Because it isn't the same thing.
@sprice82: Now that is pure unfairness... ;-( Exactly what service is this?
@TheFu: What service are you using? Because I am currently paying $25/month for a stinkin' 1Mb/s! If you could let me know I'd be mighty obliged.
Nice article! You should mention wifi expanders such as the Linksys Wireless-G Expander.
@utkhexon:
I don't see why anybody would be scared to shake a person's hand. Like Sigmund said, a nice firm handshake is a national sign of friendship, and as long as you don't stuff your hand into your mouth or pick your nose, you don't have to worry about getting sick.
Nice desktop. The overlapping clock adds a nice touch and the colors are beautiful. Not my kind of taste though. The bottom bar seems a little too restricted for my tastes.
Very cool! I have several flash drives, a My Book, and a couple partitions on my laptop's HD, so this could be very useful for me.
Very interesting. I'm using Jaunty right now and it's very fun and easy to customize it to look awesome.
