Being that hip hop was created in the 80s, you should know this! Hip Hop is the umbrella genre that includes scratching, art like graffiti, certain dance moves, and also rap. Rappers, certain djs, and dancers are also hip hop artists.

Well traditionally, freestyles, or in this case for the BET event, other rappers either stand in back or crowd around to hear each other’s freestyles and raps. Sometimes its for moral support or to simply hype up the rap vibe even more.
