'Cept the mission of the smart car isn't long drives on the freeway where efficiency can be maximized, but short hops in traffic where no matter what you're driving, mileage is gonna suck. And I gotta ask, when you're stuck in traffic with an average speed of 20 miles per hour or less, who needs more than 70 hp anyway?

I think the reasoning is LEDS are more efficient, and cooled seats allow you to use less regular A/C.

Can the enthusiast community please get over its diesel fetish? I'd rather see Jaguar go electric than diesel; at least there's some high-tech excitement coming out of an electric motor, as opposed to the son-of-UPS-truck experience that even the best diesels can offer. I've driven a late-model A3 TDI, and even that

What kind of fuel economy do you think an A-Class/CLA with an economical diesel gets? Or a C-Class even. The problem is that, at least according to analysts, Americans aren't interested in such a car.

Dems a lotta Benzs...

Mercedes W124:

Except this was in California.

Prove it.

THIS is a turbo charged engine I can love. Instead of sounding muted and boring it sounds awesome. Damn AMG makes a nice V12

How is it physically "impossible" to not like the Waywah? Some people hate its design, some love it, and some, like me, are undecided. Still, it's a Pagani...

And a fine counterpoint:

Incredible? Yes. Beautiful? No.

They are. The new S-Class is the Maybach replacement.

Say what you like about the Maybach, but they are truly magnificent opulence machines.

You made my point well. Only a retard would buy an A8.

Does have a bit of a melty ass, but I quite like it anyway. Stands out. Actually, it's best from the front 3/4, where you can't see the meltyness. From there it seems a bit more athletic.

"A 1991cc, turbocharged engine that makes 355 HP at 6000 RPM, and 332 lb-ft of torque"

I'm pretty excited about this car and cant wait to take it for a test drive when it hits showrooms. How did you feel about the interior? looking at the pictures looks like the one you had the regular seats did they hold you well? spending 3k for the 'bucket' recarco are a tad much.

Me too! And they feel like quality pieces. I couldn't stop playing with them when I drove the CLA250. On->off->on->off.
