I loved the first one, but was hugely disappointed with HL2, especially after all the hype.

Interesting choice of music. I definitely heard some God of War in there.

Does that mean that this is an in-game reference?

I think it's just people have been separated from the texts, calls and emails for so unbearably long that any unnecessary second being separated from their mobile phones is simply unbearable. Most people just switch on their phones, a million text message alerts go off in the plane, but no one actually writes a

I'm ... actually not entirely opposed to the idea of taxing violence. There are so many games and movies these days with violence, realistic gore and what have you as the main appeal, maybe if they were more expensive (either for the producers or consumers), the developers might have to come up with new ideas.

But that's like ... I don't know, saying that Harry Potter is a wizard is a spoiler. Yes, I'm sure it would be a cool surprise watching (or reading) and suddenly realising that Harry's a wizard, but the fact is that every single person to ever have read or watched the series (or never even have done either) knows it's

The gameplay looks really dull, tedious and frustrating, and unfortunately it doesn't matter how great the characters, atmosphere, story or whatever else are, I don't really feel like playing a game where the game part of it doesn't appeal to me.

That was .... certainly an interesting read. So thank you for that.

I also find this hard to understand. Does she only come in really late and as a surprise? As far as I've understood, she's one of the main characters and accompanies Joel all or most of the way through the game, so I find it hard to imagine that her presence on the cover is such a major spoiler.

I agree, and I don't at all blame developers and publishers for doing the things that make the most money. That doesn't mean I have to be happy about it though...

How would you know?

"Microsoft did the right thing. They listened to consumers and finally acted like the good guy"

Have you considered the fact that lots of "us" feel like we have been severely hampered by consoles? Not just the fact that, since just about every game has to run on console and not just PC, the potential is completely unused (and not just graphically - in terms of AI, complexity, physics etc.), but also the fact

"Puzzle" is a very generous word when it comes to Skyward Sword. Most of the time, it was "I detect a 97.6% probability that stepping on this switch (which is the only thing in this room) will open that door (which is the only way out of this room)"

Damnit. I really wanted to see this console fail spectacularly. Just because.

Although I love this, calling Sony well respected and honorable sounds like cluelessness or fanboyism. Some of the stuff they pulled last gen made a lot of people very unhappy.

I wouldn't know. I got extremely bored long before the end.

I still can't get over how hideous that art style is...

Although I've been getting almost no street pass hits - and that's living in London, which is kind of a busy place - and I think this is a great move, I also think I'm going to miss the feeling of "Oh, I walked past a person from Hungary today, cool!" or "Oh wow, someone I 'met' before was also at this Zelda Symphony

Now playing

Yeah, I was hugely disappointed by Dishonored. I guess it was my fault for going in and expecting Thief, but I just wanted to ghost the game and it really wasn't fun.
