I got really bored of Halo very, very quickly, but greatly enjoyed the Resistance series (yes, even 2). But with these kinds of games, unfortunately, the multiplayer tends to be the deciding factor, and I don't really play many MP games (and if I do, they're generally dedicated to it like UT).

Europe, dammit. There are Zelda fans over here, too!

It's definitely a very special experience, though I did get bored towards the end as it got very repetitive.

Been waiting too long for Darksiders 2 already ... Well, I've already paid for it, and it's unlocking on Monday, so I'll just have to see what happens. Shame this keeps happening to good games, though.

I'd assume, to avoid confusion, that the windows reserved RAM is accounted for in the requirements - i.e. if your computer has 4GB built in, it will be fine.

Fine on all counts - but I may have to free up some space on my SSD. It's seriously taking some getting used to, having so little space to install games on.

"Your mum's so into town-building games, she had to play Outpost while you visited her island with your action-RPG character?"

People are idiots. Anyway, that's not Pachter's fault - he didn't say HE agrees with it.

They may be more graphically intensive, but they're a long way from photorealistic.

To each their own, I guess. I got sick of Angry Birds after 5 minutes, and have invested countless hours into Temple Run.

Woo. I'm one in one hundred million.

I'm pretty much the same. I've never minded the violence in GoW games, and there have even been occasional moments where I thought "holy crap, that was AWESOME!" But I would never consider violence a selling point of ANY game. I hate it when games try to get you interested by just showing you violence.

I'm sure they can, but I question whether this particular nutjob, and others like him, would have gotten a hold of them.

Fair point.

Isn't it great, though, that sane and caring people like this can get hold of guns. And hey, at least everyone in the cinema had guns to defend themselves with.

Still play it through every year or so. I think I can do 102% in around 2:30 hours now.

Unless the future of Rare is the past of Rare, I don't care.

Looks confusing and much too hard for me =/

Wow, it works. Thanks for posting.
