2012 looks to be a really weak year, even by recent standards. The only great game I've bought this year has been Kid Icarus: Uprising, and the only games I'm looking forward to are Dishonoured and Darksiders 2.

Well, that's fair enough. Uncharted games have always had 2 years inbetween each iteration.

Shitting me ARE you

I think in 2006, people were excited about the possibilities of motion gaming, and how it had potential for some great games. So stuff like Wii Sports was really, really exciting.

I'll give you Lego City. Rayman wasn't exactly news.

Erm ... Yeah, but did you see what the games were? Ports of games that have been out for a year, rehashes of old games (TWO Super New Mario Bros. games), and karaoke, dancing and Nintendoland.

That's tomorrow.

I have never been so bored during an E3, ESPECIALLY during a Nintendo conference. That was really, really poor. I was considering a WiiU before, but now I'm definitely leaving it for a bit.

Well, for me the catch is that none of those games interest me in the slightest.

Not if you spend 20 minutes talking about a Harry Botter book, anyway.

You could always play God of War 2 as Athena?

Yeah, I seem to remember them saying it was before this happened, but maybe not. I guess he wasn't royally pissed off before killing his family, so there's not much of a game there.

The sad thing is, even though I shake my head at the people that buy CoD and all the other practically identical games constantly, I'm still a sucker for a new God of War game. Same mechanics? More shitty story? No innovation whatsoever? Don't care, they're too much fun to play!

Well, they are saying it plays quite differently to Uncharted, though I don't yet see how. I really hope they add some elements other than "shoot 100 enemies. Now climb up/along here. Shoot another 100 enemies."

As I understand it, though, if he didn't kill them, they'd kill him and Ellie. Maybe after raping her.

I'm a PC gamer myself, but I will always own Sony's and Nintendo's consoles as well. Too many developers and franchises I love on those.

No regen health.

Vita lost because they really needed to focus on it - show games, maybe a price drop; you know, get people excited about it and buying it.

Although I wasn't hugely interested myself in most Ubisoft games, other than Rayman and Watch Dogs, I do have to say it was a great conference. At least they focused on games, and there wasn't a single grey/brown military shooter.

Well, I got a brand new PC last year, but the one from before that I got in 2004, so it lasted about as long as your console. Plus, it was a Dell, so it was obviously ridiculously overpriced and underperformed. My current PC should need a new Graphics Card in maybe 2 years, and a full overhaul in maybe 6-7.
