Hmm ... the only one I'm missing is S&S. Great bundle, but will pass this time.

I'm finding it hard to be excited. They'd have to REALLY change things up from 4 for me to pick this up.
Rare is reforming with all the original members, moving back to Nintendo, and they're working on a new Donkey Kong Country, or Banjo Kazooie, or Conker's BFD
I really want that anniversary edition, but I'm not sure if I'm actually willing to drop £25 on it =/
We never got those names in the UK :( We just have Ratchet & Clank 2 and 3.
Edit: just re-read your post and realised I'd misunderstood.
As long as they allow me to change settings without having to exit whatever application I'm running (*cough* 3DS *cough*)
From what I can tell, it's a pain to find something specific on the xmb because it's just a big jumble of different squares.
Would it? It's the same game. Same classes, monsters, world - just offline instead of on. Admittedly, I don't know anything about the technical aspects that go into these things, but I can't imagine it would have taken *that* long....
Then why not include an offline single player mode that just doesn't allow characters to use any online functionality? Essentially a completely separate game. I wouldn't probably bought D3 by now if it had had that.
I know, it's obviously because the company doesn't want its game pirated and, completely ignorantly, assumes this will fix it. In my view, that's not really acceptable.
What a rubbish cover. I bought this game, and it turns out I need PlayStation Move or something? Not sure, but they really could have written that on the cover or something.
Poor choice of word, then, but yeah, both of those points you listed were still caused by Microsoft buying up Rare. So I blame them =P
Yeah ... I mean, think about the amount of content added to a game like, say, Heroes 3, with each expansion costing the same as about 2 map packs these days.
Money and greed is happening to gaming.
Yeah, it's not like the DVDs you buy have trailers for other movies on them, or you pay for cable/satellite television to constantly get blasted with ads....
I realise they're Rare characters, I'm just saying I associate them with Nintendo, and imo that's where they belong.
It'll be a situation where buying the game means you get ads, while downloading pirated copies means you won't. And the industry will put unskippable warnings on the legal copies, saying that piracy damages the economy blah blah, which won't be in the pirated copies either.
Microsoft bought them, and didn't let them do anything decent anymore. Since then, they've actually gone even further downhill, to the point where they now just make Kinekt games. Plus, look at that logo. It makes me want to vomit!
Banjo and Conker are Nintendo characters. I don't care who bought whom or who owns what, everything good Rare have ever done has been on Nintendo Consoles.
