My old TV works fine. I've seen no reason to replace it. When this breaks and I need a new TV, I'll probably buy a full HD one. Hell, I might even throw in 3D for good measure, or whatever other fancy new feature will be all the rage then (probably EVEN MOAR PIXALZ). But right now? My TV is good enough.

Some people (in fact, one person I know) buy 3 video games in a year. You would really have them not play any new games for a year just so they can have a slightly better picture?

OR you could, you know, eat for a month off those $200. But yeah, I guess that's just if you have fucked up priorities and can't stand a bit of fasting.

Fraud is "an intentional deception made for personal gain or to damage another individual"

I don't even know WHY I decided to look at this comment section. I knew it would be exactly the same as the last article about this.

My computer's in my room, my consoles in my living room. Are you really suggesting I move my monitor back and forth everytime I want to use one or the other? Not to mention a monitor is way too small to function as a TV.

If I have a VHS player, and buy a VHS of a movie I want to watch, and it says on the packaging that it's a VHS, and I get home, open it, and there's a DVD inside, then I've been mislead. IT has nothing to do with whether VHS is outdated, it's false advertising, and these people should all get reimbursements and

"Most people agree that the game has terrible controls"

... Yet the worst thing to me about that comment is that completely unnecessary apostrophe....

My records show a total game time of 118 hours and 15 minutes, and I've got about 10 chapters beat on the highest intensity. But yeah, it's a bit short....

Kid Icarus: Uprising is the best game I've played in years. I've been hooked on it ever since I got it on release day; I pretty much haven't been playing anything else.

They'll probably get Retro or someone to do the sequel. It's just not Nintendo's style to not run any franchise into the ground if it's at all popular.

Jesus Christ, you're passive-aggressive. Have you considered that, to some people, graphics aren't everything? I own a PS3, because it is required to play PS3 games. An HDTV is not, hence it hasn't felt like a worthwhile investment to me. I can happily go back and play PC games from 10-20 years ago (for example, I

Am actually excited about this game. Even though I know practically nothing about it.

Nope. Games for Windows. No problem.

Because we're too sane. By which I mean repressed.

See my response to your other comment. My flatmate has an HDTV, I use it, and I don't really see the big fuss. Sure, $200 is not much, but it's more than nothing, which is what I would pay to keep my perfectly functioning TV.

You aren't missing out on FUNCTIONS in most games by not having an HDTV - it just doesn't look as pretty as it could.

I have - my TV's in my room, and has my PS2 attached. I watch TV shows and play PS2 games on it just fine.
